He has received numerous awards related to songwriting, musicianship, teaching, and community leadership, culminating in “Melodies & Memories, A [Saginaw] Community Tribute to Michael C. Brush.”

Midland Folk Music Society presents a Folk Music Festival. Workshops (including ones appropriate/tailored for youth), Dances, Concerts, Jams, Vendors, and a family-friendly atmosphere.  Bring your own chair for any workshop, your acoustic instrument or at least your love of folk music!

Great Lakes Loons Pennant Race

The Great Lakes Loons Pennant Race is MOVING to August to join the Great Lakes Loons, as they make a “RUN FOR THE PENNANT!” Join us for an exciting Friday night as the Loons battle for a place in the playoffs, while enjoying one of the last nights at the ball park. All participants will START and FINISH in the stadium and will receive a game ticket for the 7:05pm game, which includes live music, pre and post-game.
We offer a 5k Run and Walk, along with a 1 Mile Fun Run. All participants receive a race day game ticket!
